Getting ready to create a new listing for your services? The next step is figuring out how to position yourself right away to the potential clients and get those bookings!
Because getting this right plays a crucial role in getting leads - we’ve created a list of best practices that helps event hosts choose you among your competitors.
1) Pick a hero photo
A hero photo showcases the personality and style of a service provider. With that in mind, you should consider everything your brand is about and how to make that first impression positive. This picture will not only be portrayed on your listing but also across other channels such as listing previews, social media campaigns, and profile links, so really put thought into what you will look like among other service providers and what makes you unique.
Take a look at Nomad Photo - they specialize in BoHo Desert Chic-inspired Weddings and Events and it shows in their hero photo:
On Breezit you can select your hero photo by clicking on “Services” → choose your listing and click “Edit” → Find “Events and pricing” → “Edit” the “Pictures & video”
Pick the best photo as your main picture:
2) Pick the general pictures
Once you have the main face for your services - the hero photo, the next step is to add other photos that further push your potential customers to make a booking. It’s important to stand out and avoid pictures that are generic in your category.
Look at the generic photos as if you were telling a story about your brand. Showcase your experience, add behind-the-scenes footage and if you have several different listings, those images should be relevant to what each type of host would want: a wedding planner and a corporate event planner have different needs so we suggest you take your time to cater each listing to that specific client.
You can edit your Breezit general pictures by clicking on “Services” → choose your listing and click “Edit” → Find “Events and pricing”, → “Edit” the “Pictures & video.”

3) Add several service packages
Different clients have different needs, and you can receive more bookings from different target audiences by utilizing service packages. We suggest you create at least three service packages your clients would be interested in and get a wider variety of bookings.
Make sure that it’s clear to the event host to understand what each package is - avoid naming them generically like Package 1, Package 2, and Package 3. Instead, provide some information in the name and elaborate on your offer in the description

4) Add additional services
You can add additional services, which is a great way to upsell, expand and make optional offerings for your clients. This is where you can showcase the full scope of your services, offer bonus/free options, and create a unique offering - you name it.
Test which additional services perform best for your business and deliver the best ROI.
5) Set a calendar-based pricing
Breezit allows you to show your availability and set special pricing, depending on the dates. Without a doubt, you should consider utilizing it to optimize your pricing and conversion rate.
This also shows your clients that prices differ according to the date and provides full transparency on your pricing - making you a trustworthy service provider.
Utilize calendar pricing to drive in more clients and get more bookings during the (off)season or weekdays, but stay aware of what’s best for your business and delivers the best ROI.
Bonus Tip: Make an intro video
Before booking you for their event, your clients want to get as much information as possible about your services, your personality, and your experience. One of the most excellent ways to showcase that is by creating an intro video.
We find that vendors that have an introductory video end up getting more bookings, and people pick certain vendors over others because they get a better sense of what they can expect compared to the service provider that only has images on their listings

Set your listings the right way by utilizing excellent content, service, and pricing strategies to pop among your competitors and make it easier for event hosts to pick you for their special event.
