Payment collection

There are numerous ways to collect payments:  ACH transfers, credit cards, and various payment apps. However, there is nothing more convenient for your client than paying on the same platform where they found you and their other event vendors. 

That is why Breezit partnered with Stripe - one of the largest US payment processing companies, and now brings the whole new experience of booking services via the listing portal. 

Here’s how the payments on Breezit work:

  • In order to receive your payments, you need to connect your bank account to your profile. You can find a guide on how to do this here: guide. 
  • After receiving the booking inquiry, and finalizing all booking details with your client, you will be able to ask them to pay by clicking on the big orange button Ask for payment:

  • Your client will receive an email asking them to confirm booking details and make the payment. All the payments are 100% secure, and both your and your client’s data are kept safely. 
  • If you want to sign your own service agreement with the client, no problem. You can upload the contract on the Breezit platform and automatically initiate payment collection when the client confirms your service terms. Or you can use Breezit Standard agreement - you won’t need to upload anything in this case.
  • The payment will be processed within 2 business days, and the money will be transferred to your bank account immediately after they reach Stripe. 
  • The payment processing fees are in line with solutions available in the market: the card processing fee is 2.9%  + $0.25 for each transaction, and the payout fee is 0.25% + $0.25. 

We also do all the follow-ups about deposits and outstanding payments for your clients by email and text messages. This means no more awkward calls asking when they can pay, or playing hide and seek with those who always forget to do that. 

Now onto the good part - the marketing credits 💰

With every transaction you process through Breezit, you will get marketing credits - Breezit points. You can check the amount of Breezit points you have in your account, under Overview. 

All right, so what do I do with those credits, you might ask. 

There are a few ways to use the marketing credits:

  1. You will be able to use them to highlight your listing in the marketplace or other parts of the platform to attract more customers.  
  2. After your  free marketing membership plan ends, you will be able to use Breezit points to cover your fees to be in the directory. On average, you would need to process 3-4 transactions per month to fully cover your subscription fee (you can learn more about Breezit points can be found here).
